Week 4 Wednesday SOAP: Wonderful Counselor

S- If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

O- Ask God for wisdom without doubt and he will give to you generously.

A- God gives me wisdom if I ask. That's a glorious promise from Him. I believe that sometimes God puts our faith to the test. He tests us to the breaking point of our abilities and resources so we will learn to trust in Him instead of ourselves. My resources are limited, but when I look to god, I have unlimited resources. My strength is limited, but when I rely on God, my strength is unlimited. 2 Corinthians 12:10 "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong." So I will do my best to count it all joy when God puts me to the test. All we have to do is ask for wisdom and He provides for us what we need. Proverbs 3:5-6 tell us "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." First, I must trust in the Lord with all my heart, then I must acknowledge, or ask Him. Whenever I lack wisdom, just ask and it will be given to me :)

P- God, thank you for being my wonderful counselor. Thank you for giving me full access to you through Jesus. Forgive me when I tend to find solutions on my own and not from you. Father, when you put me to the test, help me to run to you first my true love and give me the wisdom to be able to turn from my selfish ways and to put all trust in You for everything. God, give me wisdom to making decisions that need to be made daily. I praise you for all that you have done to provide us with all that is needed God. I love you with all my heart, all my mind, and all my soul. In Jesus name, Amen
